WSIS Update

Intersessional negotiations continued in Geneva this week on the Political Chapeau, Chapter 1 (Implementation), Chapter 2 (Financing) and Chapter 4 (Follow-Up) of the Tunis WSIS documents.

Australia was represented by our Geneva Mission. The key issue remains the elaborateness of the follow-up arrangements, particularly the roles of UN agencies, including the ITU, relative to other stakeholders.
