Entry Crimes Act amended to prohibit "cyber stalking"

Whether you reside in Victoria or not, if it's proven you have breached the Crimes (Stalking) Act 2003 there's up to 10 years in a cell to get through.

"Stalking involves a course of conduct engaged in by an offender which has the intention of causing physical or mental harm to the victim or arousing apprehension in the victim. It includes following the victim, telephoning the victim, keeping the victim under surveillance, interfering with the victim’s property and otherwise acting in a way which could be expected to arouse apprehension or fear in the victim for his or her own safety."
